She's Thunderstorms

Seeing the Arctic Monkeys in concert has been on my bucket list for years. My love for the band began like anyone else's - after hearing a few songs from their album 'AM' I was hooked - but one of my recent obsessions is the song 'She's Thunderstorms' from a previous album. It's filled with emotion and has an almost psychedelic intro. It makes me feel nostalgic if not a little sad. This outfit brings us back in time but is certainly not somber :)

Once the staple of Hippies in the 1960's, tie-dyed garments have seen a rise in popularity in recent years, with a huge comeback seen in the Spring of 2017. Today tie-dye is identified with stoner culture, skateboarders, and festival-goers, but can also be found on the runway (eg: in the form of colourful embellished dresses) I've paired this awesome hoodie with a plain vans t-shirt and some ripped light-wash denim shorts. Fishnet tights and black high-tops complete the look.
