Little Lion Man

Another day, another song that's been playing on repeat in my head, this time it's 'Little Lion Man' by Mumford and Sons. I fell in love with this track instantly and have so many good memories associated with it despite the meaning of the lyrics. Tonight Alive did a great cover version for Punk Goes Pop Volume 4 which is definitely worth a listen. Nothing will beat the original but it is a great twist.

I went for a simple ensemble of a checked dress, knee-high socks, and some chelsea style boots. This is something I would wear to go to university or for lunch with the gals. But a slick of red lipstick and it also works for a night out - especially if it was indie music night - where I've danced like crazy to this song on numerous occasions. Sorry, not sorry. 

What's your go-to outfit for an easy day to night transformation? There's always the standard jeans and a nice top but sometimes it's fun to get a bit more creative.
