Cigarette Daydreams

Cage The Elephant was always one of those bands; The ones where you try so hard to get into them but only ever love a couple of songs. For me, this perfectly describes how I feel about one of their more well-known songs, 'Cigarette Daydreams'. It's a great one to stick on when I'm bashing away at coursework and trying to resist throwing my laptop out the window (which is a fairly regular occurrence if I'm honest) Fashion can be hard at times. But enough, let's move to the outfit:

More velvet... yes, I'm obsessed. I have a pair of black velvet leggings and I honestly wear them on a weekly basis because they're so warm and never fail to jazz up an outfit. I am loving darker colours such as navy and burgundy as we go into the winter months. It's really cold in Scotland right now but I will continue to wear skirts until the snow appears. Crop tops and bralets are great because you can layer them so they are suitable for wear all year round.
