Illusion

I would describe 'Illusion' by Synchronice as chilled electronic, it has a soothing start which gradually introduces more beats, creating an uplifting and almost ethereal vibe. This made me think of a garden in the Spring with walls covered in ivy and magenta flowers lining the path. I am always fond of songs that paint an image in my head with their melody.

Synchronice consists of two brothers, Will and James, who have released several singles together over the last few years. Their cover of 'All We Know' by the Chainsmokers, which has been played over 1.8 million times on Soundcloud, gained them a lot of recognition from the online music community.

I will refrain from looking back at my last nine blog posts to see which ones feature velvet pieces. Hint: it's the majority of them. Velvet is everywhere right now and it's fair to say I'm here for it. I went for a pastel palette with pops of burgundy and an incredible purple and gold eye look. The glitzy top harmonizes with the gilded eyeshadow and the lime crime lipstick is a reflection of the shoes' hue. This look took me ages to put together but I'm pleased with the results. 

Are you as excited about Spring as I am? The snow here was fun for a week but now I'm over it and my hands are so dry with the cold.
